Turn around time

Darcy and Mike at band practice

Today the weather turned around and it is now fall...the leaves are amazing...vibrant shades of yellow, red, orange and green...I don't need the Hallowe'en hype that I see on people's lawns...give me the waving fields of autumn corn waiting to be harvested, the shine of a freshly polished apple or those honking geese flying over me. Wow. Praises to the One.

A fine Thanksgiving was enjoyed at Bruce and Marlene's new home at the lake. Record 29 degree temperatures allowed a final fall swim and lots of outdoor activities including a fireworks extravaganza! There was lots of boisterous play and good-natured insults. Typical. Blessing was read by dad from Psalm 115.
